Triggering text containing a variant

Hi Guys,
I recieve this line of text, (sort of):
A prickly stinging overcomes your body
The problem is it could appear as this:
A*pr*ckly stinging over*omes your*b*dy
or this
A prickly stinging o**rcomes your body
The "*" floats and could be in more than one place.
How does one script this trigger?
