zMUD's Mapper Acting Strange

The mud I play on just introduced several large areas. I almost had them all mapped when things started to go very strange.

First, one zone of over 3000 rooms gave me STACK OVERLOAD messages whenever I tried to speedwalk. That was easy to adapt to by just typing the path in manually.

However tonight's happenings have me dismayed. I had just finished mapping a very large city. When I tried to speedwalk, zMUD would crash. When I tried to move two rooms into another zone, they were moved up 99 levels in that zone. And now if I try to click on any room it shifts over to a blank section of the map.

Has the great number of new rooms and zones surpassed the mappers capabilities? Or has something corrupted and I need to reinstall and start over?

I am using zMUD version 6.16 in Windows XP on a Pentium 4 CPU 1500MHz, 1.50 GHz with 384 MB of RAM.

Thanks

It could definately be that your maps got corrupted. The new public version of zMUD will include the new map format of the current beta versions, which should make these problems almost unheard of. Anyway, to try to fix it you should follow the instructions that appear here.
