If you deleted you character from the Character Selection screen, then that is where zMUD stores your password. If you made a backup of your chardb file, you can put it in your zMUD directory to get you character back. If you upgraded from 6.16 to one of the later beta versions (you have a chardb.mdb file in your zMUD directory), zMUD keeps the unconverted version of the Character Database files and so you may delete/move the chardb.mdb file and let zMUD convert the old database again. Otherwise, sorry.

If you still have a zMUD Connection for that character, and had an autologin trigger working that logged you in, then you should be able to do this:
Open the connection offline, and type:
#mess %pass

zMUD stores your character password in encrypted form. If you ever forget your password, connect to your character Offline, then go into the Preferences and turn off the Gag Password option, then type
#SHOW %pass
I came across this in the help files hope it works for you |
