The parameter is incorrect

What does "The parameter is incorrect" mean? This keeps poping up everytime i try to close a trigger.

tried making one via the command line?

#act {hello world} {#say yeah baby!}
say/gossip/chat hello world, if the trigger works you'll see "yeah baby" echoed on your screen...if that works, open up the triggers panel and see if it still twigs out

Why oh WHY did I have pass door on...

i did what u suggested, and when i open the trigger to look at it, then close the triggers box, the error message still appears. I've only had this problem for the last couple of days.

Perhaps your settings file is corrupted. Try following the steps described in the Migration Guide to uncorrupt the file.

i followed the migration guide, and this problem is still occuring, the really strange thing is, its occuring on all my characters, which all have seperate settings files, im running 6.30 and didnt have any problems until just recently. Some of my settings files havent been changed in any way, yet they now have this problem too. I even tried using a setting file for a character that i had copied b4 this problem started occuring (i think so, unless it wasnt showing up then) and it displays this problem too.

Then you might want to try uncorrupting the global settings file. Open an empty window (by hitting <ESC> in the Character Selection Screen) and load the global settings file (by using the Settings|Load... menu action.)

If that doesn't work, I can only suggest to delete the zmud.ini and settings.dok files. It may do nothing for this particular problem, but then again, this works wonders for many other problems.

A clean re-install is always another options, although this is likely to do no more than deleting zmud.ini and settings.dok
