Mapper help for Realms of Wonder |
I am using the beta version 6.26 and playing the game Realms of Wonder. I am having problems getting the mapper to work. I've read the help files and followed them to automatically configure the mapper yet it wont work. It maps the current room I'm in but when I move it won't add any additional rooms. Here are some I've tried or noticed about it.
1. I am in mapper mode not follow.
2. When the mapper gives me the message that it has successfully configured itself it also sez that the room description is in a certain color ( I think green) but it is actually in black. The room name and exits are described in the right color.
Any ideals, suggestions, hints or gossip will be greatly appreciated.

Did a quick check and had no problems using the auto mapper and Hammerfall Academy.
It even nicely picks up the exits (Exits: north, [south], up.)
Make sure you configure it out of the newbie area where the exits are mostly none till
the information is passed to you.
You'll need to make #NODIR tirggers as well ie
#TRIGGER {The door is closed.} {#NODIR}
#TRIGGER {Alas, you cannot go that way.} {#NODIR}

I'm having the exact same problem with the Achaea mud. Including that if I move to another room, and look through automapper, it doesn't update the only room I have on the map. In some rooms, it covers the whole description, and in others it doesn't. I have had no success playing with manual config or manual config from pasted text offline.
My only thoughts are, Achaea's prompt is a -
where zmud usually expects a >
Any help?
Thanks,
