ZMUD PROBLEM SETTINGS

I don't know what happened but now when I load up one of my characters. The main toolbar now has buttons as opposed to the buttons for triggers, alias, buttons, etc.

So basically, I have duplicates of my buttons on top. When I right mouse click on the top buttons, it's asking me whether I want it in icons, text, or whatever. THe second row of buttons which is supposed to be there is doing what is supposed to do.

Basically, I need to get rid of the top buttons and have it the way it was before where you can bring up the trigger lists alias list whatever. As stated before, it's now my actual buttons.

Either you had an error that corrupted ZMud itself or one of the settings files (ie, default.mud, custom.mud, or global.mud), or you accidentally had one of these files open and mistakenly put your settings in there. Either way, your best bet and likely the easiest fix is to simply run the ZMud installer again and have it reinstall to the same directory--you won't need to unlicense or anything of that nature.

If a simple reinstall fails to work, then if you choose to solve things with a reinstall you need to save your character files to a safe location, unlicense (if you registered), completely uninstall ZMud (this includes deleting the ZMud folder after uninstallation), reinstall it, relicense, and migrate your settings back into place.

It's possible you could simply open up those three files and manually clean them of the obviously erroneous settings, but it's not recommended even if you know what you're doing.
