Question for the Experts |
Is there a way to hide the fields of a record that are not being used? IE, this sword only does 1d6 on damage dice, is there a way to hide the other fields that are blank?

You can create different views in the database that only show some fields and not others. Records that are in a specific view will only show those fields that you selected. Try looking at the help file for more info on this.

By using the various database functions to obtain data, the if function to ignore blank fields, along with other functions to line up and format things, and the #SAY command for the output, I'm sure you can display your database any way you wish. The real question is whether it's worth the time and effort.
