Cutting maps??

Well,my problem is the next:
I have mapped a lot of my mud,but now my computer cant work with that much so i would need to cut areas,paste them in separate archives... and i would like to know 2 thinks:
1 Is it possible to do that,cut zones and paste them other places?
2 Could i keep speedwalking to zones,from the one i am,or i should walk to the end of one,the end of next one,and so?

Draw a bow around the rooms you want to move with your mouse to select them, then click on the Move menu in the mapper and select Move Rooms To Zone. At that point, you will get a list of your zones or the option to create a new zone. The links between the rooms should survive, if not, see the other topic I posted under for a solution.
