Can you give us a bit more detail? Is there an error that pops up when trying to install? When trying to run? Can you get to the character selection window? What steps have you taken to try to get around this problem? We can't help you a lot if we don't know what the problem is ;)

What version of zmud?
I've installed 5.55, 6.1, 6.2(first two sub versions of that) and hasn't given me any problems with XP.
It would also be helpful to know if your system is a natural xp (came with it) or if you side-graded (I don't really consider xp to be an "upgrade") to xp. XP tends to do some very maddening things when your doing it as a side-grade. |

I recently installed XP on my computer. I have been using Zmud 3.62 and have had no problems. Then when I installed XP I tried to run it and it said it couldn't find a file it needed to run Zmud 3.62, but I had just re-installed it and nothing was missing. So I downloaded Zmud 6.16 and it wouldn't even run to install. I just downloaded Zmud 6.26, but I can only use it for 30 days. I would really like to just be able to use a free version of Zmud on my computer.

The free version is 16-bit. Windows XP does not run 16-bit applications.
