sending an email via CMUD, directly or via bat?

I ran into http://forums.zuggsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20084 and was amazed to see that CMUD could potentialy send emails. I was not able to implement the final version...it just doesn't do anything when I use it....
As a result I began to beg, borrow, and steal enough bits off the internet to create a successful .pi file that will generate an email via gmail...yes i went to 2nd level verification so I could create and APP pin....but only because I could not get a .bat varient to accomplish the same...and I was then able to create a .bat file to execute the .pi file...but was unable to get #execute to run the .bat file...which may be CMUD worked as designed..so I am at a loss.
I am open the either method of generating an email, though personally I would love to create the email with CMUD and send through gmail... in a perfect world I would be able to act on a an in game line of text like.
You receive a message from a hairy messenger, it reads: "Be ready for the raid in 10 minutes."
CMUD would them grab the message in quote and send me an email:
Title: You received a message
Body: You receive a message from a hairy messenger, it reads: "Be ready for the raid in 10 minutes."
with my level of understanding I can send preset message with .pi....which is not nearly as useful |
