Automapping with Italian muds

I've downloaded the trial version (6.16) of Zmud, but I can't make the automapper works fine. It never recognizes the exit, and often queued my direction command.
I think it's because I play Italian muds and the exits are in Italian, so Zmud can't recognize them (basso instead of down, ovest instead of west and so on).
Could someone help me? Thanks!! |

There are 2 Classes that contain the default direction definitions, they are Directions and DirectionsDiag. You will have to either edit the Commands portion of those directions to the Italian words, or if you also play English muds add Italian words to those directions or add whole new directions.

Hmm..
You need to copy the Directions and DirectionsDiag classes, to eg 'IDirections' and 'IDirectionsDiag' and change all the directions in these new classes to italian. The original english classes then need to be disabled. (Otherwise there are problems.)
If you need more help, I'll have to see if I can translate my 'Automapper for german muds' page :)

Sorry for my ignorance, but how can I edit the classes you were talking about?
I'v tried to edit Direction class, but Zmud only permit me to insert a one-letter word!

You can do this all from the command line.
Turn off the English directions:
#T- Directions
#T- DirectionsDiag
Then create the new Italian directions:
#DIR ns "n|nord" north
#DIR sn "s|sud" south
#DIR eo "e|est" east
#DIR oe "o|ovest" west
#DIR ab "a|alto" up
#DIR ba "b|basso" down
#DIR hj "no|nordovest" northwest
#DIR jh "ne|nord-est" northeast
#DIR kl "so|sud-ovest" southwest
#DIR lk "se|sud-est" southeast
You can place the Italian directions in a new class if you like.

I've found it's much less trouble to create your own directions classes, the english ones are in the default.mud and seem to turn themselves on again :)
