Color Command - Combination Quirks |
While trying to get some triggers and other aliases to color #SHOW command text, I came across a few scenarios where the math does not produce the desired color combination
#1: Bright Yellow Background
- #CO 352
- (14+8)*16: Produces a dull Gold color with black text
#2: Bright Yellow Foreground
- #CO 22
- (14+8): Produces a Blue Background (1*16) AND Brown text (6); instead of Yellow Foreground (14+8)
I know ZMud is not the desire client but I have had my license since 1999'ish and don't require a lot of features to play TelNet. |

You can use hexadecimal colors and color words as well, which might aid in getting the proper color.

So is there an undocumented (web) format for the Background, Foreground color scheme?
The help doc (https://www.zuggsoft.com/zmud/help6/COLOR.htm) only alludes to the items described but not how to enhance (Bright) or designate Foreground or Background color's.
I have a long history with CSS syntax.
An example of how to #SHOW and then #CO the text with Background: Bright Yellow and Foreground: Black using Hex would be awesome. |

Well I don't have all the hex codes memorized, but its generally done in this format:
#CO #RRGGBB #RRGGBB |

Search for a hexadecimal color palette.
