I hope and think my request is rather simple. Please don't give me a difficult solution, or I shall cry! I am not, nor have I ever been, nor will I ever be in this world long enough to become one of these really techy people!

HERE IS MY REQUEST! I need someone to tell me exactly where to install my CMUD. If there's anything unusual about which drive and the way it should be done, please give me very simple instructions.

I have been playing a mud game since May 1998. Someone helped me set things up, explained to me what I needed to do, and I just bobbed my head, smiled. . . and prayed that I wouldn't have to do more than that. It worked and I learned a lot at that time. Anything that I learned in the wrong way or anything that I didn't learn or know about then is just the way I am today! Isn't that wonderful?!

Recently, I have not been able to connect to my mudgame :( I have researched a lot regarding DNS, etc. I didn't want to know those things either. My son checked and re-set my Linksys and all is well he said. I still am unable to connect to my lpmud game :( At my age this could be disastrous to my 82-year-old health. I do need someone kind enough to answer my question.

The installation process is pretty automated.
While you have the option to chose a different folder during installation, unless you have a specific reason to do so, there is no need.
Just follow the prompts and you will be fine.

You must have remembered who I am! You and Chiara worked with me on that color problem long ago.
Thanks for picking up on this. Long ago when I did my first installation it was quite an operation avoiding the wrong place where it would be unwanted. I appreciate your help. You certainly have been a blessing to this place :)
