Minimum Processor Requirements?

Hello everyone,,
I'm on a mac running virtual pc, and I'm limited to 686 emulation at 512MHz, with 512MB ram. Is there a minimum processor requirement to run ZMUD (or even CMUD for that matter)
I've tried 3 fresh installations of XP (patched up with all the latest system updates) and when ZMUD (and CMUD) launches, nothing happens. It looks like it will open, but no error dialogue box pops up. Just nothing happens. This is w/o any additional software running, just the basic installation of XP, patched to the hilt.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Anybody else out there with VPC on a mac that can run it?
and no, I don't have an Intel mac, I have a G5 at work with a PPC processor :( I'm stuck with VPC 7

Zuggsoft products tend to like their memory, I am guessing that is the bottleneck.
Did you try running the really old free version of zMUD? |
