#event

can someone please help me. I have 2 packages, and I cannot get a custom event in one to trigger from a raise in the other.
addrec is an alias adding stuff to a db. The event is defined in package ZPG, raised in PSC. ZPG is set to local only, PSC is global due to some macro options
Both packages are party of my main session

#event AddRecord addrec

#raise AddRecord $name $curhp $maxhp $cursp $maxsp $curep $maxep @order

Please and thank you!

A follow up to this, got the #raise call to work, but i'm using gauges in the ZPG window in the package. but to make this work, the main session has to have both other packages selected. This clones the buttons on to the main session, and I cannot get them only in the ZPG package window and off the main session window.

This would likely be an issue of scope.
Could be one of two things actually.

A. The package is not loaded up by the session.
To fix it:
Click on the sessions button
Edit the session you are having issues with
Navigate to the Packages tab
Click the + button, and select the package file to include.
Repeat as needed.

B. The package is loaded, but not enabled in the specific window you want to #RAISE the #EVENT from.
To fix:
Click the settings button.
Click on the window object you want to #RAISE from.
Navigate to the advanced tab.
Be sure the checkbox beside the package containing your event is filled in.
If you don't see it listed, go to option A.
Repeat as needed.

You might want to put the buttons in a third package that is not enabled in the main window, but is in the secondary window.
So long as your variables are in a module, they should still be global.
