Inherited Settings |
How do I get rid of/change inherited keypad macros? I tried eliminating any inherited
files by editing my character. Reboot, they are still there. I deleted them and saved my characters file. Reboot, they are there again. Help! |

It helps if you post what version you're using, and if you're using a beta, to post in the beta forum.
There's a known bug with inherited settings in the latest beta. If that's not what you're using, post back so we can start looking for a more helpful answer.

Can't delete them because they are not in your settings file. They reside in the default.mud file that zMUD loads everytime for every character. Modifying this file is not advisable, but you can go into your settings, and look for the classes that contain these macros: Keypad and KeypagDiag
Now, when you click on the class, you will see a list of options for that class. Disable the "Enable class when connecting to a MUD" and enable the "Disable class when connecting to the MUD", also disable the "Enabled" option. Save your settings and create your new macros.
