help understanding why scripts from some packages won't fire in a session |
Hey guys,
I'm new to cmud and used to use zmud way in the past. I am having a helluva time trying to figure out the package system. I read the docs last night but still cannot seem to get them to work right.
The example/problem i am running into is this. I have a 'main' package with a bunch of scripts that works across multiple sessions. The mud i play allows up to 4 sessions at once. So lets call that 'main'.
The packages included in the session are listed here so I have them added:

You can see here the two packages and they are both active within the package editors.

What is tripping me up is only the scripts in ThunderdomeJah package will work. The ones in main will not fire.
My understanding of the docs is you are supposed to be able to add as many packages as you want to maek them modular. But in practice this doesn't seem to be working.
Any ideas what I'm missing here?
Thanks |

I would check the settings of the window/module object (advanced tab) in the settings editor and ensure that the package is enabled.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong?
I mean if they are all checked then any scripts in any of those packages should work correct? |

Its the main window object in the session package that needs to be checked.
