Dark and Shattered Lands DSL gtell semicolon separator character

On DSL, semicolon is a shortcut for gtell.

On Zmud, I used to do this: ";come fight at crossroads;hide" and it would send a gtell 'come fight at crossroads' and then 'hide'

On Cmud, it sends a gtell 'come fight at crossroads;hide'

So it seems like because the command input starts with a semicolon, any further separator semicolons aren't recognized as the separator special character.

Is this intentional or can it be changed?

You can currently escape any character used by CMUD with the tilde ~
Any of these characters can be changed in the the special characters section of preferences.
But I would suggest against changing the defaults.
In order for it to work as you expect, I think you only need to pad it with spaces.

Actually. Escaping characters or adding spaces has no effect on this situation

I could have sworn there was a way to circumvent this, but I can't remember what it is.
It's a shortcut for emote on the main MUD I still play, and i cant get it to act as a separator when it starts the line as well.
