Tab completion for words with hyphens and UK English dictionary

Hi,
I really have two questions that have been on my mind for quite a while.
1.) Is there any way to make words with hyphens count as single words for TAB autocompletion? E.g.
Word: "user-generated"
Current result of tabbing at "u": "user"
Desired result: "user-generated"
For those of you familiar with TinTin++, this is how it is currently handled there.
2.) Is there any way I can replace the dictionary that CMUD uses with one for UK English, i.e. stuff like "colour" instead of "color".
