Sorry Dearn, yeah, the roomdesc being cleared was something I picked up hours ago while banging my head against the wall. The SET thing, It just kept giving crc errors everytime. I guess because it was not the right thing to be using. I never used it before, was just going based on Mr. Rahab's suggestions.

While the Duration might not be perfect.. I fear changing anything for the off chance I can't get it to be perfect again. XD I am testing it on a second character at the moment, completely different files, to make sure it still works fine. If it does I will try your STATE option.

Hmm, simultaneous posts. I would be wary of using a duration type trigger for this, it could mess up if you move two rooms in quick succession.

So, after using it on a second character, in a different area. It did in fact work right again. And yes, you are correct, I hit it 2x on accident fast, a finger twitch.. and it basically made the same room above the one previous.. but with a door as well. I just merged, and then removed the door. Attempting your STATE alteration now. Because to me that does seem like a better option, if it turns itself off properly :D God, I am so happy I at least got it working.. literally I have been altering and tweaking this all day. Killing me.

alright, after mapping a small 10 room area.. the STATE works as well.. but with an unintended side-effect that did not happen on my duration one. But to me, it is not a bad side effect. One thing about mine is that it only captures the desc/name/exits... with the state like this, it captures stuff below the Exits line. For instance, if there is a container or item on the ground. This would be something else I would want to work on after I .. sigh.. learn how to use the DB.

You mean it's adding it to the description? That shouldn't be happening... Is it adding the exits line to the description too?

Yes, I mean it is adding them to the descroption, and yes the exits line is showing up as well.

During your constant tweaking, your trigger likely got stuck. When you find and fix problems in a multistate trigger, it's a good idea to use a #state command to ensure it's in the correct state.

That sounds right I guess, as this morning when I deleted all settings for the character, and simply added back the trigger with the manual, it worked properly, with no extra lines. Thanks Everyone for the big help :)
