No there isnt, If you do any mudding or actually need features that Zmud offers.. then download and register the newest one.. You wont be sorry, since once you buy it, all updates are free! Unlike Microsoft. If you don't mud enough to need features.. go to tucows.com and search for telnet clients that have a few things like.. connect, disconnect or just open your windows directory and use telnet. Have a nice day.

For tomarrow is another day, and other days come but 6 times a week.

Don't know what version of Windows you are trying to use, but note that v3.62 will not run on Windows 2000 or Windows XP. 3.62 is an old 16-bit app, and the new versions of Windows won't run this (well, actually XP might if you tweak the compatibility settings, but Win2000 won't).

As it says on the download site, with 3.62, you are on your own. You are trying to run software that is 5 YEARS OLD. I can't think of a lot of software that old which still runs on any of my systems (although Office 97 is getting close).

hmmm. i have win 98 so i guess that would be considered a newer version. could that be partly why this is happening? because my system is 3 years old?

Got Visual Studio a while back in work - well over 1000 dollars. When new versions arrive, they will be buggy, and cost not much less than the original.

Got Zmud for $25. When new versions arrive, they will be buggy but quickly fixed and FREE. For life. Gotta say, I know which is better value (and I'm one of the few developers left who likes Microsoft)

Long live shareware, but it will only live if we pay developers at least a living wage. Cost of a couple of CDs, can't say fairer than that.

Cheers to all involved, Zmud is the best shareware I've seen
