Why doesn't CMud play sounds anymore |
Win 7 64
CMud Pro 3.3.4
It plays .wav files if I trigger them
It will play the default sound if I press the play button to test it
All the files are located in their respective directories
When I receive a CTRL G code from a mud, CMud won't trigger my default beep sound... ?
Can anyone enlighten me as to why this is, please? |

you may need to include the full path name of the file in question if it is not located within the folder for that session
#PLAY "C:/my documents/my music/suchandsuch.mp3" |

This didn't fix my problem. I also didn't need this prior to the last week or so when it just stopped working.
Thanks tho. |

Does your system play sounds from any source?
Maybe the issue is with your speakers instead..
Does #BEEP make any sound? |

My speakers work fine, even tested with headphones (because I've had that problem before)
#beep plays the default sound
LOL.. I just figured it out.. I have no idea how, but my default sound was set to silence.wav .... Strange..
Thanks folks. Shalimar, you helped me figure it out by triggering something in my brain.. :) |
