Database Column Width

What sets the width of the columns? I have been fighting this for some time now, and for whatever reason everytime i open my DB the last column is about 2 inches wide.
i keep resizing it but it will always reset on a query/search etc.
the Database help file implies that i can save the widths of everything but nothing changes,

anyone wanna point the obvious out to me?

Thanks

As far as I know, it simply does not keep track of how wide you set the columns when you view it. It will always go back to the default size if you close it and reopen it. This is simply the way the old Zmud database was written. Lots of shortcomings like this are why Zugg always intended to rewrite it from scratch in Cmud, but it has been very low on the priorities.

I don't think he's intending on rewriting it anymore. I mean, sure it'd be nice to have a nifty UI for SQL but between external apps and existing SQL support we can really just create our own. After some key bugs are worked out, of course.

Well bummer, Thanks for answering though, as a sidenote, I noticed that some columns in the DB window are a different width (wider or shorter) but no real reason that i can see as to why, the words are maybe 4 characters long but there is room for 20+. so somewhere it is coming up with a width to display.....Shrug.

Thanks again.
