Cmud 3.34 problem with sessions |
Hi,
I just purchased Cmud 3.34 and I have a problem with logging into a mud. I double click a mud session and the screen goes white for about 3mins and then it finally logs into the mud. However, if I open another mud session CMUD immediately crashes.
I am on Windows 7. No alias's or scripts or anything like that in use.
Is this a known problem? It's very annoying.
Regards,
S. |

You have data corruption. Given your description, it's more than likely the sessions.db file that is corrupted, which is bad news of the annoying kind (there's no convenient way to fix it). Find and delete that file, let CMud create a new one from defaults, and then recreate any user-created sessions you lost.
If the problem still persists, this means something in your session files is corrupted. If you have a map (*.dbm) send it through the MapConvert utility using the repair feature. Use the SHIFT trick to reset the layout. Send all package files through the XML Export/Import process.
If the problem STILL persists after this, it's a bug and you need to describe exactly what you are doing and how you are doing it. |
