#PATH and ..

Hi All

I'm trying to set up some #PATHs to link up some of my commonly used areas.

Is there anyway that I can get .. to do something different than a straight #reverse of the alias

for example

if I have a simple path
#PATH goSomewhere {.3n2w}

I can use .goSomewhere and ..goSomewhere to move between two places

but if I need something like
#PATH goSomewhereElse {.3n2e(enter castle)n}

and the exit from said place is sw rather than s, then ..goSomewhereElse wont work. I''d also get an error when the 'enter castle' is replayed, but I can usually live with that.

I know I could go it with two aliases, say goSomewhereElse and goBackSomewhereElse defined differently, but that seems clumsy, and I then have to remember not to use . and ..

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Bob

Actually, you can do that.

When you create the room, set a direction exit in the Room Properties that isn't being used to go to the room with the special exit (enter castle, in your case). In the name field, put 'enter castle'. You can then put a reverse direction (in this case, sw) and you won't have any issues anymore.
