So I've finally broken down and bought CMUD, and I must say it's fantastic. However, I've been having two issues with it.

1. When I start CMUD there will frequently be an alias, trigger, button, or other setting(s) I know to have created and saved not present in the package, and on one occassion a whole class was moved into a different tree. Any advice on how to correct this?

2. Frequently when I switch from another applications window, such as Internet Explorer, back to CMUD, the first keystroke will not produce the correct character. Usually it is a letter typed which comes up as a number.

As to the first problem, it usually means that you are a Vista or Windows 7 user and that, at installation time, you neglected to specify a explicit path to your client data area and it defaulted to Program Files (x86). UAC will prevent storing data into this area but to conform to legacy systems, both Vista and Windows 7 will place your data in a virtual area. You can see what's in this virtual storage by clicking on a button that will appear on the toolbar when you use Windows Explorer to view the contents of your actual data area. It's been a while since I dealt with this Windows feature so I don't remember the exact legend for the button, but when you look for it, it is obvious which one it is.
To solve the problem, simple uninstall CMUD, then re-install it paying particular attention where you place your data area (which will be the second path that the installation procedure will ask you). Storing it in My Games is quite acceptable.
As to the second problem, I can't be sure, but it sounds as if your English Keypad package is either not loaded or not enabled. To check this, click on your main window setting and then at the bottom click on the Advanced tab, you should see the loaded packages listed on a column on the far right of the settings window. If the English Keypad package is loaded (you can see it listed) but not checked, check it. If it is not loaded, then on the File menu of the settings window select open, then double-click on the English Keypad entry. Once the package is loaded make sure that it appears checked on the far right column of the settings window. Also, it may be you are suffering from a lack of focus, so when you return from another application back to CMUD, make sure you click on the main window surface to obtain focus before you start typing on the command line.
