Gauges working incorrectly |
So, here's the situation.
I'm multiplaying on a MUD with 3 seperate sessions/packages. My main session has gauges set up to monitor the health of my other characters. For two of my characters, the gauges work perfectly - they show the characters name, current, and max health on the gauge. The gauge empties and fills correctly, based on the gauge/background colors. The third characters gauge almost works right, it shows name and health on the gauge - but the gauge stays full all the time.
I have checked and double checked, and the settings for each of the gauges are exactly the same. If two of them work, why doesn't the third? I am baffled.
If needed I will post the actual settings, but seeing as I actually have two of them working, I feel like I probably have them set up right.

Update: I got it working, at least for now, by deleting the variables for my third characters health. Odd. The variables were accurately storing the health values, so I'm not sure why that worked.

One possible answer is that there was more than one variable with that name. The gauge was depending on one, but it was the other that was being updated. Now there is only one variable.
