Cmud/Win7 |
I have a fresh installation of 7 and 2.3 Cmud, I believe(whatever is available on the front of the website), and the icon on the bar at the bottom of the screen doesn't display any changes going on in my windows. Is there a way to get it to do such, in the way Zmud would like, turn Green?

It should be doing this by default, but otherwise there's an option in Preferences for it. You will have to enable it separately for each window, if I remember correctly.

I've checked the option to bring it to the front with activity and the option to change the icon with activity was already checked. Neither are functioning as of the moment in Windows 7, or at least on my installation.

Try Making A New Session Or reinstalling the Cmud, Also when you in win7 right click on the exe file for cmud and goto proerties and run in win xp compatiabilty mode and also right click it and run it as the adminstrator....

Upgraded to 3.x , ran as admin, set to compat mode, changed background pic, seemingly is working now. Thanks.

You should *not* be setting the WinXp Compatibility mode. Nor should you need to run as Admin. These settings are only needed if you install CMUD into the incorrect directory on your computer or if your computer has non-standard user access control settings. If you install your User Data Session files into the default %DOCUMENTS% location in the installer, then you don't need the "Run as Admin".
Try turning off the "Run as Admin" and WinXp Compat mode and see if it still works. |
