Mapper Room Name Question

Hey all,

I just started playing a MUD again after many years away and I'm having difficulty with the mapper. I've #NOMAP'd out the lines that interfere with Name/Descrip/Exit capture but after using the auto-configure function (which correctly identifies the all three parts), the mapper is replacing the room name with the description, recording the description but including the exits in the description, and properly recording the exits. Here's an example:

[Hall]
Two large silver pillars flank the path into the hall. To the north is the training room, where adventurers better their craft.

The area is illuminated.

Obvious exits are: north

__________

After capturing this with the mapper, the room name reads "Two large silver pillars flank...", the description reads:
"Two large silver pillars flank the path into the hall. To the north is the training room, where adventurers better their craft.

Obvious exits are: north"
And the exits are correct.

100% of rooms are being captured this way. I'm really not sure what's causing this error in capturing, but any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
Chris

Use #TAG instead.

#trigger {^~[([%w%s%p])~]$} {#tag name %1}

You may wish to go ahead and tag everything else, but you probably don't need to. Remember to run the reconfigure wizard so that the tag trigger(s) are used.

Matt,

Thanks a ton! I used the trigger and it now saves the room name correctly -- the description started having issues, so I tried #GAG'ing out the lines between each paragraph and that seemed to fix it!

[Moved this to a new thread as it's a separate problem]!
