Disappearing Text

All of a sudden my client appears to be hiding text from me. For example:

I type look, and I should get this:
Code:
This is the headquarters of the wizard's guild of Nanvaent. The wizards' guild is for the more subtle people of the
spells at our disposal. And, unlike the uncouth fighters, if the situation demands violence, we don't endanger ourselves
in barbaric melee combat, we blow the buggers up. A small, ebony pedestal sits in the centre of the room.
[Commands are join, leave, info, cost, advance]
There is one obvious exit : down

It appears to have something to do with the size of my window, but I can't figure out how to fix it. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

EDIT: I have uninstalled and reinstalled the client, but I'm not sure I deleted everything that gets left behind before I did the reinstall. I have also verified that this problem only occurs in CMud (telnet into the MUD and I have no issues).

EDIT2: Also, some lines of text don't return at all , no matter what my window size is.

EDIT3: The lines that don't appear all contain "nan"

FINAL EDIT: And I figured it out. Don't check the "Do not display password text" checkbox.

Or just change your password to something more obscure. Also a good idea to do so now that you've told us all your password is "nan".

Actually, my password isn't nan. For the MUD I play, you ssh in with a username and password of nan, then it prompts you for your actual username and password once the connection has been established.

This is actually a pretty interesting topic. Maybe in the next version, rather than having an internal trigger that gags any line that contains your password text the actual password can be replaced with a few *'s or something. I can't say I've ever played a MUD I can remember, that actually echoed back my password after I typed it and hit enter (I guess there could be one or two though). That said changing the trigger to an anchored command input trigger might actually work better. Just a suggestion.
