Status Window Stuck Open

This has been bugging me for awhile, but I've been trying to ignore it.

I tried out the Status window in one of my sessions a little while back, but decided I didn't want to use it at this time. However, now, whenever I open up CMUD (before I even open up a session) a Status window will pop up. Most of the time it goes away when I go into a session, so it's not a real both. Still, is there any way I can get it to stop popping up when I open up CMUD?

If you close the status window and then exit the session, CMUD should remember that. The Status window is a global setting stored in the CMUD.INI file so it is independant of any sessions.

Closing it and then closing CMUD didn't work, but I tried something else. I closed the Status Window and then went to Window > Save Default Layout and saved it, then closed CMUD. When I opened CMUD, it looked like a small window (such as the Status Window) wanted to open but then promptly disappeared. I've noticed this with a lot of my layouts where Auto-Save is turned on for the layout, but it requires a manual save to actually work. The CMUD folder is installed in a My Games directory I created in My Documents on Windows 7, is it possible that there's permissions issues causing trouble?

I had the same issue. Fixed after doing the Save Default Layout with status window closed, and then one of my sessions I had to then open and manually Save the layout without the Status window there as well.

I too have auto-save layout enabled... and my CMUD folder is within My Documents, Win 7 64-bit.
