Help, I think I broke something! |
I will admit, I am REALLY bad with this stuff - but here's what is happening now:
I open Cmud, start a session on my MUD (Imperian) and I get TWO windows, one that connects to IMTS and one that connects to the server directly o.O
Here's how I got there, well, as best as I can describe because I am really not sure what I did.
I was TRYING to load an alchemy module from someone. It was originally in text, did the whole load into a bland session, export to turn it into XML. Then tried to import the XML. I got no error message, but it wasn't there - so I assume it never loaded.
Gave up. Came back to it. Decided to upgrade Cmud, maybe that would help. That went fine, though same results when I tried to import the XML file. Here's where I don't know what I did - SOMEHOW got the XML loaded, but NOW I have the phantom direct connect window (which runs that darned alchemy package) and the other window which connects to IMTS.
I would be happy to just go back to the way things were even if it meant I don't get my alchemy package - PLEASE HELP! |

It sounds like IMTS is the main window you wish to use? When you say "did the whole Load into a bland session", do you mean you loaded the package into a blank session with no settings at all? When you exported did you use the Export XML (ALL) option from the file menu of the package editor or did you right click on something in the tree view of the package editor and use the Export selection option? Is the "phantom direct connect window" in a separate package than the IMTS window?

First let's calm down.
Second, right click on the session you and choose Edit Session (Alt + T).
On the Package Files tab, you should be able to remove the Alchemy package.
As for the window, hold the Shift key. This will reset your layout, and should bring back to visibility. You can then delete the window. |

Alright, Tech, I am now restored to my previous state, thank you. The window has now disappeared.
Fizgar - I wish I could explain what I did better, but my extremely limited knowledge of this stuff seems to stunt my recall ability. I followed the instructions I was given, but can not remember the details.
As for my phantom window, believe it or not, I do not know what you mean by it being in a separate package. |
