delete zone labels?

sometimes a room will have 4 or 5 exits to a new zone, and if it does there are multiple labels on the map which has things looking a little cluttered. I have been search but havent found a way to just remove some of these zone labels but still have a functioning exit to a new zone.

This should help. Using Zones, specifically the section Zone Links. In mapper mode, you select the link then uncheck the 'Draw Link' option to hide the label.

Depends on how exactly you want it. If you want to keep the zone link exit shape, you cannot turn off the link label at all and must resort to fakery (ie, setting the link label to " ".) You can do this via the Room Properties window, but the label applies equally to both sides of the link.

If you don't care about having that specialized exit shape, you can simply uncheck the Draw Link checkbox. This will result in a link that sort of looks like a stub exit, but it's shorter than a real stub.

With the advent of the special <id>, <name>, and other room tags, you perhaps might be able to do something fancier via the various %room and %zone functions, but I haven't tried this for anything but room mouseover hints.
