No Support Response |
A while back, I tried to license an old copy of zmud my mother had gotten me a decade ago. I ran into some troubles retrieving the licensing key due to an improper email address being stored, and I tried to write for help as the webpage instructed me to do so (support@zuggsoft.com)
I sent three emails asking for help over the course of a month. I checked my spam folder. I never got even an acknowledgment. Why? I was prepared to move up to cmud but this has left me faithless in the support system. Were my emails never received, or what?
Thanks |

We answer all email within 48 hours (not counting weekends or holidays), so if you didn't get a response, then either we didn't get your email or our response was blocked by your ISP or spam firewall. Yahoo email is the most notorious for having problems. The best thing to do is use an alternative email address (like a free gmail account or something) and try emailing us again. It also helps to put zMUD in the subject title of the email.

If he didn't respond with 48 hours, even just to tell you that he can't help you, then they probably didn't make it to his inbox OR his spam folder. ISPs aren't always so good at detecting spam properly, so sometimes when they see something they consider spam they'll just delete it outright instead of letting the user decide.
You could probably also send to sales@zuggsoft.com, and if neither seem to work for you you could send a Private Message via the forums to at least alert Zugg to the fact he's got someone wondering why he seems to be ignoring them. |
