system clock |
heh anybody else notice zmud screwing up their system clock... im finding that after running zmud for a while the time gets really off (talkin hours here).
sure its noy a big deal but would be nice to know if there is a fix |

I don't think it's actually ZMud or any other application. The clock is really an LCD, and it takes time for the OS to read it each time it tries to. After a while, it'd be noticeably off

zmud ver 6.23 beta (latest release, case i got the number wrong)
win 98 {ver 4.10.1998}
no it zmud... after bout 3 hours time the SYSTEM (not the little windows clock) clock was off 1 hour and 45 min.
i know its zmud because that is the only recent change to the programs ive been running...and i never experienced this kinda time lapse before running zmud.
no one else has noticed this huh?

In that case, you need to post this on the Beta Forum as 6.23 is a Beta version. Maybe Zugg knows something more about this, but he usually doesn't check the regular forum when he's working on Beta versions.

I have also had that problem with it changing my system clock. After I close zmud and then either log off windows and log back on or reboot then it fixxes itself with my atomic time program. I thought it was my CMOS battery for a while so I changed it and it's still doing it.
Where ever I go CHAOS seems to follow. |

By the time I'd found this post you've already posted in the Beta Forum - presumably without any assistance, since other Gurus can't modify your member settings.
Would you mind explaining what you did that fixed it?
