.map files.... HELP!!!

Ok, I have been away from MUDing for over 5 years now. I have backed up old zmud .map files from my mud but the new version of zmud wont read the files. I have seen posts saying "convert" them to the new format. But I am finding no way to do it. Can someone please tell me how to convert my old files?

To my knowledge, there's no way (in terms of something already written and provided to the rest of us) to convert .map files.

So all my old maps are now lost in the abyss? There is no way to recover them, or read them in the new versions?

I have archived copies of zMUD that should read a .map file feel free to post them to some file sharing site and PM me the link for me to try.
