PLEASE ZUGG FIX THIS!

Each and every time I install an update it breaks my numpad. You overwrite all my macros that I have saved to these keys and I have to redo them every time. And every single key has a macro attached to it.

Can you please fix it so it stops doing this? Please! It takes almost 30 minutes every time.

You could do the simple thing (and also what EVERY Beta tester should do) and back up all your settings first. Then it's just a simple case of importing/reinstalling instead of spending 30 minutes to recreate them all.

I haven't tried that in a long time, it used to create a million more problems instead of fixing a few simple ones. I'd end up with duplicate/non-working or non-existing triggers that used to be there when I backed them up merely minutes ago. Course, this was during the ZMud era, that could be fixed now. But it's still a problem nonetheless. At least it is for me.

Well, the whole point of beta testing is to not get the latest, "greatest" version, but to test things. That's why it says for the beta agreement that you should back up all your settings. I'm not sure what your particular problem is, considering that while I have backed up my settings, I've not had to use them (except when Zugg added the json variable stuff).

Well, to answer the specific post, you should be creating your OWN shared package with your numpad macros and should *NOT* be modifying the "English Keypad" package that comes with CMUD. CMUD is always going to overwrite it's own packages (like English Directions, English Keypad, Clickable URLs). It is very easy to create your own package and have it loaded with your session and then this won't happen.

Also, please keep any posts about Beta versions in the BETA FORUM.

Thanks Zugg, I'll try that. Figured just the generic keypad was the proper one to edit.

Also, sorry for the all caps, I didn't realize I made it all caps when I created the post.. *fail*
