Error: Access violation at 0x779DD14A (tried to write to 0x00040FF0

I downloaded and installed the latest version of Zmud and it works fine on the first usage. The problem is when I load Zmud after the first time. It freezes at the initializing engine stage and this error message comes up. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong? Thanks.

on vista or 7 ? zmud doesnt place nice
