[19c] Database key values not assigned properly upon upgrade from 3.17 to 3.19c

Ran the upgrade that I got asked for as I started CMUD from 3.17 I think. Installed. Started up... And afterwards all my database variables were screwed up.
How?
Instead of keys being assigned proper values... it looks like this when I look at variables inside the editor:
key=value... e.g. AmBlinded=0

Please make this into a proper bug report by showing the full XML of your variable as shown in v3.17 that is not loading into 3.19 properly.
