where is pattern tester?
 
Xp and using cmud 3.17
why cant i see the pattern test in package Editor?
do i have to open any option?
it only shows Pattern, Wizard, Scipt Text,XML,Compiled Code,Compiled Pattern
that's all ............
where is tester?!!

The Pattern tester is now integrated into the Pattern tab. It's supposed to automatically show the match/no-match status of your pattern, as well as detailing what's in each of the different %1...%99 variables being used.

As you can probably see, there's still a nice pile of work to be done and we need more users to catalogue issues they have with it. Much of it has already been reported and has simply not had enough priority to get fixed yet, but there's really no such thing as too little user-input

Yep, as Matt said, just go to the Pattern tab and type the text you want to test into the "Enter text you wish to trigger on" field. It will automatically tell you if the pattern matches the text that you enter. Or, you can select recent text lines received from the MUD using the "Text" drop-down menu just to the left of the text field.

So it's actually easier than the old "tester" tab.
