Couple concerns with CMUD over older zMUD and questions regarding telnet use |
Hello!
I tried searching for an answer but never found a situation relevant to mine.
Firstly, why does CMUD not have a "key" button like zMUD did (where you would push a button in, then press the key you wanted to apply a macro to)? Is this planning on being added in the future? Is there a workaround for it?
Secondly, I have a linux shell I can connect to my MUD with (allowing me to play multiple characters at once). However, that server uses SSH and port 22 to connect.
Is there a way to toggle the ssh in either ZMUD or CMUD so that it can get me to the right log on screen?
Right now I get this message:
Connected to host taerinswhisper.org
SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_4.3
Is there something my shell administrator needs to change?
Any help would be appreciated it. |

1) To define a macro, press Ctrl-K, then press the key to assign the macro to. If you are in the Package Editor, then you can enter the name of the key into the Name field, or you can press Enter and the popup window that allows you to press the key to assign the macro to will open. This makes the Name field in CMUD more Windows compliant than how zMUD worked. The Ctrl-K thing is the same as in zMUD. So nothing was lost here.
2) To use SSH you need CMUDPro. |
