Ctrl-C in a tabbed capture window doesn't clear the highlight on the text (cleared highlight in v3.12).
Clears highlight in main character window.

1. Highlight text in a tabbed capture window.
2. Press Ctrl-C in notepad (just one example).
Text in tabbed capture window stays highlighted until you click in that window again.

Update: both the "unhighlight" and selected text copy went back to v3.12 behavior once the child window focus issues was fixed in v3.14a.

Additional information:
1. Enter command in main window's command line (command is auto-highlighted).
2. Highlight text in a tabbed capture window.
3. Press Ctrl-C in notepad.
4. Pasted text is actually the command from the main window.
5. Delete command from command line.
6. Highlight text in tabbed capture window.
7. Press Ctrl-C in notepad.
8. Pasted text is correct, but highlight still doesn't go away.

Well this might have to do with the fact that CMUD will automatically copy anything highlighted in the scrollback buffer.
So the use of CTRL+C is somewhat redundant if not redirected to the command line entirely.

As for the highlight not going away, this might be so the %selected function maintains a value, but thats just a guess.

As Shalimar mentioned, Ctrl-C isn't needed to copy text...just highlight it. Ctrl-C does not "unhighlight" any text. You have to click on the window somewhere to clear the highlighted text.

When you have a capture window that is associated with the main session window (i.e., the capture window doesn't have it's own network connection), then clicking on the capture window actually gives focus to the main session window. So the Ctrl-C is acting on the command line in the main session window and not the capture window. So it's working as designed.

Ok, it just works differently that it did in v3.12 and before (at least on my system, the Ctrl-C did "unhighlight" the selected text).
Consider it closed and I'll just get used to the "new" way of copying.

v3.14a actually put this back to the way is used to work (correct text is copied and the highlight is cleared from the child window after Ctrl-C, btw using Win XP Media Center).
It must have been related to the child window focus problem.

So, I think it should be ok to edit your post and add (SOLVED in 3.14a) or something Wink
