I am having a Macro issue. . .

I cannot assign my F3 - F 12 keys to a Macro.

Key: F3
1 Get pots sat;quaf pots

F1 and F2 work normally, but I recently saw that my F3 - F12 bring up the short cuts on the side of the Package editor. Like F6 is assigned to show the Variables. So, how do I get my keys to work in game??

Thanks!

Click on: Options|General. In the Preferences window click on User Interface and the Command Line tab. Put a checkmark in Macros Override Menu Shortcuts.

Sounds like you have the Package Editor window open. When other windows are open, Windows gives them the keyboard focus instead of your MUD session window. You need to close or minimize the package editor for your session macros to work.

I appreciate the help. I tried that solution, but I am still having the same problem. You know when you open the editor, on the left hand side is a thing bar with the pictures of triggers and such. That is what my keys are assigned to. I have done both solutions suggested here, but neither allow me to use my F3 - F12 key. I can bind ' [ ' or ' ] ' or ' = ' just fine.

I am sorry that this is such an issue. Thank you for your patience and help!
