[3.12] package editor macros over writing

I use a duel screen display with the main cmud window on my main screen (not sure if this matters?), and the package editor open on my second screen. I have found that when im using a script that #untrigs or #unalarms it disables my macro overide menu shortcuts, the option itself is still enabled in the pref settings, but my macros no longer work until i manually disable and enable them, some times ive had to actually cut and paste them back into the package from another to get them to work.

Can you make this happen in a default session or new session? If so, can you give specific instructions on how to make it happen?
