I have the room properties window docked to the map on my second monitor.
If I go to map a new area, the 'jump to link' button on the 'room exits' tab does not work until i have the map reopen the room properties window.

You need to post the *exact* step-by-step procedure for reproducing this. Here is what I did and it worked fine:

1) Open session with a map.
2) Open Room Properties and dock it to bottom of map
3) Click on the Exits tab of the properties
4) Click on a link
5) Click the Jump to Link button

it properly selected the destination room on the map window above. I also tried selecting another zone and it also worked fine.

it requires a saved layout were the initial session start is the only cause for the room properties window to be open...
other than that, the directions i gave are step by step

1 open sesion
2 open map
3 open room properties window
4 dock propersies to map
5 save layout
6 close session
7 open session
8 make a new room
9 see how jump to link doesnt work
