[3.10a] Enable/disable class when connecting |
Hi there.
I couldn't find any similiar topic so I'vre created a new one.
When I create some class and mark it as 'Enable class when connecting' nothing happpens when I connect to mud.
Think that this could be some error.
Best regards |

I found that when I first start the session, the option 'Enable class when connecting' runs as it should. But if i choose 'disconnect' from menu and then use 'reconnect' then it won't work.
I think it should. Am I right? |

I believe this is the behavior that has existed since Zmud.

Rahab is correct. The "enable when connecting" is left over from zMUD compatibility issue.
The idea with "Reconnect" is that you are connecting to an existing session that has just been recently disconnected for a short time. You don't necessarily want to reset all of your scripts when you are reconnecting to an existing session on a MUD.
You need to put the scripts for enabling your class (like #T+ classname) in an OnConnect event. |
