[3.08] mapper hangs CMUD

I've come across a problem which happens sometimes. When I cross a zone to a different one, the mapper scrollbars starts oscillating wildly thereby making the application unresponsive. I can't even minimize the application. Ending the applicaiton with Alt--ctrl-del and starting it again, the problem persists in the same zone crossing until I restart Windows. After a while (a few days usually) the same problem appears again in a different zone crossing. I have no idea how to replicate it other than to play a lot until it happens again.

Hmm, I haven't seen this at all in all of my playing (and my mapper is always on). Maybe there are a couple of zones that are messed up somehow. You shouldn't need to restart Windows. You should just be able to use Ctrl-Alt-Del to bring up the Windows Task Manager and then kill the CMUD process. When you open CMUD again, open your Session Offline and then manually select the zone that caused the problem and then use the Zone/Refresh command in the map menu to reset/recalculate the bounds of the zone.

Also, does this problem happen when manually moving, or only when speedwalking across a zone? And do you have any room scripts or zone scripts that are running? Since the problem is very specific to your exact map setup, you'll probably need to give us as much information as possible to help more with this.

It would also be useful to know if this problem only occurs with the 3.08 Beta version or if the problem also happens with the 2.37 public version.

I had a somewhat similar incident a few days back when using the #find command to move zones. But I believe that it was related to Another software package I was running at the time. With both of them up it happend twice, I closed Inventor and havent had the problem since.
