No eLicense control panel, no unlicense option |
I -have- to reinstall windows on my computer, as soon as humanly possible. Thing is, I'm using zmud on three computers (home, work, and eee). So I have to unlicense zMud on this computer (my home computer) before I can do the wipe and install. I followed the directions in the help file (I'm running zMud 7.21). When I right click on the zmud.exe I don't GET any elicense option at all. When I go look in my control panels, there is NO elicense control panel.
I've looked through help and the FAQs as well as searching the forums (and getting loads of really OLD posts) and I'm not seeing this exact problem. Can someone please help? How can I unlicense zmud here so I can do a reinstall and not lose my license? |

Wait a min, I think I figured this out. I'm just scared to test it. I found some topics about a new system for licensing.... Poking around, now.

Just to be absolutely clear on this, and make sure there's been no misunderstanding:
The licensing system in zMUD has changed and you're no longer limited to a certain number of installations. You can request a new key from the Zuggsoft store at any time. There's a limit of X requests in X months, I think, but if you exceed it you can try emailing Customer Support Chiara'll probably sort you out.
Of course to be able to do this, you need to be able to log into the store using the email address you used when you bought zMUD. This might be difficult if you bought zMUD many years ago. |

Thanks for just making sure it was clear. I'd finally found the posts where they explained this after poking a little more thoroughly. :)
