[3.06] Bug: recording paths

While recoding a path, if I realise I have taken a wrong turn, backtrack to the correct position, then manually delete the mistaken direction(s) from the field displaying the path as it is being recorded, when I then continue to record the path by moving in the next correct direction, any directions I have manually deleted from the path are written back in.

The only way is to begin the path again from the start.

I'll try to improve it in the future so that you can edit the text in the Recording dialog properly.

However, also look at the #BACKUP command. That is the command intended to be used to "undo" the previous direction being recorded. It will send the opposite direction to the MUD and erase it from the recording path.

I didn't know about that command, thank you. A good solution to what was only an inconvenience anyway, thanks for the reply.
