[3.06] #PATH |
The use of '#PATH name' will use your currant 'Path Behind' (as seen by '#PATH' by itself) as the value of a new path: name
If i dont tell it what to use, why is it assuming?
Should it not instead print to the screen what the value of the named path as #ALIAS does with aliases? |

Because the #PATH command was originally used when saving a recorded path. You'd use the #MARK command to being a speedwalk path, and then at the end of the path you would use "#PATH name" to save it. This feature existed way before the various commands like #ALIAS were added to display an alias name.
